One or more awards will be made to the best empirical research paper on a topic of sociological interest by a UCI undergraduate sociology major. This award honors the late Professor Robin M. Williams Jr., who served as a Distinguished Visiting Professor in the Department of Sociology at UCI for more than 15 years.
